Haris Heizanoglou

​Haris Heizanoglou was born in Athens in 1980. He studied Architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) from 1999 to 2006. In 2003, obtaining a scholarship for Erasmus Program, he attended for 6 months the Faculty of Architecture of ČVUT, (Czech Technical University, Czech Republic) in Prague. Prior to his graduation, in 2006, he worked for 8 months for the architectural studio “Omada V” in Thessaloniki, participating in the design of several housing projects. The same year, after graduating from AUTh he was accepted and continued his studies at the Faculty of Architecture of TU Delft, Netherlands. In 2008 he graduated with honors (cum laude) from the faculty of Architecture of TU Delft, obtaining a Master of Science in Architecture. Having worked extensively in Architectural Theory, his final thesis with the title "The Nature of informality" was rated full marks and selected as canditate for the Graduate of the Year in Architectural Faculty and for the International Awards of Archiprix. After a year of fulltime collaboration with the architecture studio KLAB in Athens, he currently works as a freelance architect and reseacher. He is a member of the Greek Technical Chamber.
